The Captain at a table
in the garden of heaven…
coffee
in hand he began about receiving
thoughts opening them up from
the watering can … adding concentrate
these words
he says
can grow into images and visualization
understanding that can take you up
up up and a way towards
seeing meaning meaning that you are
the juice
the drink to think the ink is dry
thy
is the water that can allow the poet’s hand
to know
that it has given seed planted in an envelope
but drawn up through an opening
hand to hand
contemplation
